Alchemy 198 is a Bar & Gallery set at the heart of Gloucester Road Central, Bristol

Open Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri 5 – 11.45pm and Saturday 2pm – 12.30am. Mondays and Daytimes for special events and requests.

Alchemy 198 offers funky cocktails, local gins & craft beers, freshly ground coffee and a lovely range of teas and coffee in a relaxed, beautiful setting. We put on a wide range of events from live music to comedy.

Our Downstairs Gallery has changing exhibitions. It can be hired for parties meetings, launches, supper clubs, acoustic music, social gatherings and more.

    Hailing from Bristol (via Madison, Wisconsin) Whiskey Hill are a 5 piece acoustic bluegrass band playing a range of bluegrass standards & classic country songs with the odd murder ballad thrown in. The band will be playing on the evening of 4th July but plan to whet your appetites and liven up Gloucester Road on the afternoon of Saturday 22nd. Free event but donations in hat welcome!
