19th February

Window Wanderland Creative Workshop

Design your Environmentally themed Window Display with the help of local artists

Bishopston Window Wanderland takes place 29th Feb – 2nd March. We’d like to encourage you to create a display highlighting the Environment and the Planet’s Climate Emergency.

The workshop takes place in half term so is a great way to keep the kids entertained! Its also a good opportunity for  North Bristol Extinction Rebellion members to spread the word in a creative inclusive way. Drop in to discuss ideas with local artists and plan your window for the trail. We’ll have stencils & printing blocks of endangered animals & Extinction Rebellion symbols. We encourage you to reuse materials wherever possible. Donations to Extinction Rebellion Bristol to cover costs.

Remember to sign up to Window Wanderland so that your window will be on the online map. Its free and fun!  You can also send in photos of you windows during the trail so that they can be shared.

We are hoping to have a video projection in our window during the weekend and will have a Window Wanderland social on the evening of Feb 29th when you can share tales of your favorite displays, have a drink with friends and neighbours and enjoy music by local band Woody and the Firesticks

Room 212 will have an Extinction Rebellion Red Rebels display over the Window Wanderland weekend put together by artist Lou Gray  of Lou’s Decorium
